但是Native Speakers不太常用poor来形貌言语才能：

• My English is very poor: 我的英语不佳。
• His performance was poor: 他的体现很差。

由于他们以为poor这个词以前过时了，并且不太天然。

要说本人英语不佳，最简便的说法是：

• My English is bad: 我的英语不佳。

直接说bad约莫太直接了，更隧道的说法是：

• My English isn’t that good: 我的英语没那么好。
• My English is okay: 我的英语寻常般。
• My English isn’t the best: 我的英语不是最好的。

另有别的一种很隧道的说法：
